The DP 2009 Conference will be held at the Westchase Hilton Hotel, 9999 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77042 offers excellent facilities and amenities, including large presentation rooms and excellent exhibit areas.

Centrally located on Westheimer, just minutes from the Sam Houston Tollway (west) and in easy reach of many restaurants and shops, the hotel includes a full-service business center, fitness room and pool, as well as several restaurants and meeting areas.

Hotel accommodation ia available at the Westchase Hilton.

Please note that all attendees, including presenters, are responsible for making their own reservations. Although the hotel has allocated a considerable number of rooms for the conference, it is recommended that people make their bookings early as space does run out!

Directions From the Airports

Transportation to the hotel is available through Texan Shuttle - 877-770-1655, from both Hobby Airport and Bush Intercontinental Airport. The cost in 2008 was $26 for either one way or return. Please make your reservations at least two hours in advance.

Alternately, the hotel can be reached by taking the Sam Houston Tollway/Beltway 8. (This is a tollway. Having plenty of change will speed up your journey).

From Bush Intercontinental:

Head south on VANTAGE PKWY W toward BELTWAY 8 / N SAM HOUSTON PKWY E / N BELT DR E. for .2 miles

Merge onto BELTWAY 8 W / SAM HOUSTON PKWY W via the ramp on the LEFT. BELTWAY 8 W / SAM HOUSTON PKWY W becomes SAM HOUSTON TOLLWAY W (Portions toll). (2.5 miles)

Remain on the Sam Houston Tollway for 21.5 miles. Take the Westheimer/Richmond Avenue exit.

Turn Left at the first light under the Freeway. The Westchase Hilton will be approximately half a mile East of the Freeway on your right at 9999 Westheimer.

From Hobby Airport

Head West from the airport and take AIRPORT BOULEVARD.

Turn left onto Telephone Road.

Turn right onto Beltway 8 (Sam Houston Tollway) heading West. Remain on this tollway for around 25 miles (estimated). It will merge into the Sam Houston Tollway heading North. Take the Westheimer exit, and turn right onto Westheimer. The Westchase Hilton will be approximately half a mile on your right.

(There is a shorter way from Hobby, but it is more complex and congested).
